Kinston Metropolitan District Nos. 1-10

Despite some rain and possible snow in the forecast, this winter has been the driest in more than 130 years. Turf and garden beds across the District are beginning to wake up, and forecasted precipitation will not provide enough moisture on its own.

To protect the landscape, the irrigation system may be run as early as tomorrow, weather permitting, and is expected to operate through Thursday, in coordination with our landscapers' recommendations. You may also see a water truck in the District providing deeper watering for trees.
